Using free information to earn Big Money with Google Adsense

Article by Amish Mody

There always been debates about whether the usage of free information in public domain will have any impact on the Google Adsense publisher earnings. Many top SEO, enterpreneurs and premium publishers do not believe that free information is indeed of any use.

This is of course not true as many of the google adsense publisher now a days are earning quite good amount of earnings from google adsense, as close to 1000$ /month, by using all the free information available on the internet. Well, how does this work then, you may ask. The answer to this question is very simple, it all comes down to processing of the available free information and using it to your advantage and thus increasing your ctr and revenues in Google Adsense revenue model.

If you are Google Adsense Publisher, then you must have come across lots of article stating secrets of earning big money over the net using Google Adsense, getting more clicks and click thru rate, steps to earn extraordinary amount of money with google adsense. Now most of the time this information is in crude form. Let’s face it, no top premium publisher or high earner would let out this secret of large earning to the public. However they would surely give out some hints and advice which is not exactly to the point. It’s this advice and hints that have to be processed properly to get the maximum gains out of Google Adsense program.

For example, I came across an article which had tips of making big bucks with your blogs. Well, it did not state as to how exactly it would enhance my ctr and where to place the ads on my blog, but it gave a tip that placing ads in content would mean more targeted ads to the user. It tipped on providing users with little but adequate amount of information so that they would long for more information. It stated that people tend to click more on google adsense ads where not much of the free information was available online to them. This tip triggered a research by me to find out it this tip was really usefull or just another myth.

I started providing free information in areas where not much information was available on the net and posted only the adequate information to make people hungry for more information. I then provided them with option of purchasing that information at very reasonable price and had placed google adsense ads which come across as other option to get more infomation on the subject. The trick paid of well, although it took lot of time to perfect the technique and repeat on other subjects and situations. But the tip helped me shot up my earning with google adsense dramatically.

Also if you are a writer or have a resource to good content writer indirectly improves your adsense earnings power. Getting people to write good articles or writing original articles on particular subject would mean a gold mine of information which would help you earn more money from google adsense. For example, my SEO Blog which only has original and related articles on various subjects.

In other words what we are saying here is that to be able to benefit fully from the free information you come across, you will have to do a lot of research and development. The only way to do effective R&D (research and development) is by constantly testing and trying out new things. In the Google Adsense world, this will mostly involve the content at your sites.

Carefully analyze every bit of free Google Adsense info you come across and find a way of applying it to your sites. The more you do this, the more you’ll increase your earnings.

Always remember that whatever you do, the more pages of useful content you have out there, the higher the number of clicks you will end up receiving. So for starters just generating loads of good content in form of free articles is a powerful strategy for earning more from your Google Adsense ads.

When Is Google Adsense A Good Addition For Your Blog?

Article by Sarah Williams

Trying to make a living from your blog is a great idea if you are up for a challenge. Some articles will make it seem like a piece of cake to sit back and watch the dough roll in. The truth is that making money from your blog takes time and effort on your part. There are a few things that can make your task a little easier however. Google Adsense is one of those things for many. If you are curious about whether or not Google Adsense is right for your blog, take a look at these characteristics of their advertising program.

The first thing to consider when looking for a program like Google Adsense is their track record. You can rest assured that Adsense is the oldest program of its type. It has the largest base of publishers than any other program like it. Knowing this information, you can feel secure in becoming a member of their program. By using Adsense, you will know that you are in good hands of a company that certainly knows what they are doing.

Another thing to consider when signing up with an advertising program is the appearance of the program on your blog. You don’t want to sign up with a program that has annoying flashy ads that will scare people off from your site. Adsense provides ads that are mostly text. They have around 10 different sizes with various dimensions so you can place them in the most appropriate places on your blog, without sacrificing your content and overall site appearance. If there is an image advertisement run in your advertising space, it typically fills up the whole ad block and is less annoying than most.

One thing to remember when considering Google Adsense is that they have strict terms of service. While some may see them as being too restrictive, they are not abnormal by any means. Basically to be an approved Adsense member you must agree not to publish pornographic material or coversation on your blog. You need to keep it pretty family friendly. This is not a huge problem for most people. Also you are not allowed to change the Adsense code.

Another portion of the terms of service explains that those who agree also cannot specify keywords that ads will be pointed to. You pretty much surrender the choosing of the ads to Google when you agree with their terms. You may have control over the content of your blog, but they have control over the ad content. Lastly, if you work with the Adsense program, you must agree to have no more than three blocks of ads on one particular page. If you are looking for a program that also allows you to see which pages earn more for you than others, Adsense is a great fit. Some programs will not allow you to do this, so if you are interested in this option, Adsense is a great choice.

Again, Adsense is based on the context of your page. Whatever you allow on your page will have an effect over what type of ads are presented to your readers. Keep this in mind when you are posting on your blog. With Adsense you cannot afford to hide your main points within a bundle of text. You have to be clear and use defining vocabulary to ensure your ads will fit just right.

If you are a blogger who would love to get paid for referring others to a program like Google Adsense, then you will be glad to know that for each referral you have that signs up and earns 0, you will get 0 as well. This can be great for someone with many contacts or a blog building business. Overall, there are quite a few rules that you must agree to follow in order to become an Adsense publisher. The rules are not so restrictive so that you cannot make money. In fact, they are made so that the Google reputation is preserved and yours as well. By using an honest system such as Adsense, you will know that you are in the best possible position out there. You can make a bundle if you put in the time, so go ahead and check it out today.

Getting Started With Google Adsense

Article by Douglas Titchmarsh

It’s probably one of the hottest topics out there, and with good reason. Where else can you get paid over and over again for doing something once?Of course I’m talking about Googles Adsense program, for website publishers who don’t mind placing a small bit of code into their sites to show ads in return for a share of the profits.

It’s relatively easy to get started with Google Adsense, as all you need to have is a website or blog on which to show the Adsense ads, and a Google Adsense Publishers Account. To get an Adsense account you need to go to http://www.Google.com/adsense and apply for an account, as long as your website complies with their terms, you will be accepted and be able to log in to create your Adsense ads. If you don’t have a website, you can setup a blog for fr.ee at http://www.blogger.com put up some content, and submit this. Blogger is also owned by Google, and some people claim this gives you a better chance of acceptance, whether it does or not you decide for yourself.

For the next part, once you are logged in you need to choose what type of ads to display, link units are just one line links to sites related to your sites keywords, ad units are the blocks of code you see everywhere with a short description, a link and a url for each site advertised. Once you have chosen which ad type to display, you can then choose the size and format of the Adsense box. This is where you must make a decision to ensure it fits in with your site, where you are going to place it.

Be aware that irregular sized and shaped adsense boxes work better than the regular ad sizes, 468×60 is immediately picked up as an ad due to banners being this size for so long online and has a low clickrate, while the 336×280 and 300×250 adsense blocks work much better. There is also some arguments as to whether you should blend the ad into your site by using the color palette Adsense gives you to edit the ads colours to make the colours the same as your site, or to make them stand out by making them a different colour, this will depend on your site, and you can test to see what works best.

After you have setup the format, colour scheme and type of ad, you will get the code to add to your site. Before you go ahead and paste it in, it’s a good idea to setup channel tracking. Setup different channels named so that you will know what it is about, and this will enable you to track which ads are working, on which sites by changing them around, and tagging them with different channel ID’s. This is one of the most overlooked parts of Adsense, the ability to track your ads through channels affords you the ability to test and tune to get the ideal colours, and placement for your adsense blocks.

Adsense does a good job of finding ads related to your site, and you have no input into what will be shown. Sometimes it gets confused, so you may have to tweak your sites copy to make the keywords more prominent so Adsense can do a better job of targeting your visitors with the ads displayed. Obviously the better the ads target your visitors, the more relevant they will be and the better the clickthrough rate.

As we already said, Adsense is a great way to make some income, and some people are even making a good living from it, it’s residual income, fairly easy to setup and low maintenance. If nothing else it will help pay the hosting fees for your website, so why not get started with Google Adsense today?
